SEATTLE, Wash. — On Saturday, August 23, the Seattle Mariners announced that outfielder Victor Robles had been activated from the 60-day Injured List and called him up from his rehab assignment in Tacoma.

Correspondingly, Dylan Moore was designated for assignment to create room for Robles on the 25-man roster.

Robles, who slashed .310/.375/.517 with three doubles, one home run, and nine RBIs over his eight-game rehab assignment, is slated to be in the lineup for Saturday’s game. He exited a game early on April 6 after suffering a dislocation and fracture in his left shoulder attempting to leap to make a catch into the netting, leading to a nearly five-month recovery.

Although Robles was given a 10-game suspension by MLB for throwing his bat at an opposing pitcher during one of his rehab outings for the Rainiers, he is currently appealing his suspension, and will thus be able to play until the appeal is ruled on in the near future.

Moore had previously been the longest-tenured Seattle Mariner on the 2025 roster and had started off the 2025 season well - slashing .272/.331/.496 with eight homers and 16 RBIs through May 27 — but the veteran outfielder fell into an abyss during the ensuing months. From May 28 onward, he had just three hits in 67 at-bats and looked incredibly lost at the plate, forcing the team to finally make this move.

During Moore’s seven years with the Mariners, he slashed .205/.310/.381 with 61 home runs and 192 runs batted in. Now that he is no longer on the roster, the new longest tenured player in Seattle is shortstop J.P. Crawford.
