First Look: Washington State Cougars Announce 2025 Non-Conference Schedule

The Washington State Cougars have officially announced their non-conference schedule for the upcoming men’s basketball season, highlighted by a trip to the prestigious Maui Invitational Tournament.
The Cougars will open the tournament in Maui against Chaminade, followed by a matchup against either Arizona State or Texas, depending on results. Other teams participating in the tournament include Boise State, Seton Hall, NC State, and USC.
Washington State will begin its season on November 3rd, hosting Idaho in the annual Battle of the Palouse.
Other notable non-conference games include:
November 7: WSU travels to face Davidson.
November 14: The Cougars will host in-state rival Washington.
December 7: Nevada will visit Pullman for a return game.
December 14 : WSU will travel to face former Pac-12 opponent USC.
The non-conference slate offers a mix of regional rivalries and high-profile matchups as the Cougars prepare for their final season in WCC play before transitioning to the rebuilt Pac-12 in 2026-27. The conference schedule will be released in the near future.
