As the Seahawks wind down their offseason program with a two-day minicamp, teammates have come to learn a few surprises in regard to Sam Darnold, while the defense’s quick start has been anything but unexpected.

Shuffling the deck on the depth chart in the secondary, the Seahawks hope to have found a quality replacement for Rayshawn Jenkins and K’Von Wallace in the third safety role as well as a key linchpin on special teams.

After landing a replacement for Geno Smith and supplementing both their receiving corps and edge rush units, the Seahawks still have plenty of areas left to shore up as free agency slows to a crawl and the NFL draft rapidly approaches.

Following the departure of Tre Brown, the Seahawks have replaced the former fourth-round pick on the depth chart with another ex-day three pick in Shemar Jean-Charles.
