WATCH: Critical Decision Day Awaits Reign FC vs. Orlando
When the Seattle Reign finished 13th in the NWSL in 2024 after losing club legend Megan Rapinoe to retirement, many assumed it was the beginning of a long rebuilding process. With young talent like Maddie Dahlien, Emeri Adames, Sally Menti, Sam Meza, Jordyn Bugg, Ainsley McCammon and others, it seemed like Seattle had a path toward relevance in a few years.
With 2025’s Decision Day looming on Sunday, the Reign are in fourth place as they prepare to take on the third-place Orlando Pride in hopes of stealing their spot at the finish line.
Not bad.
A win would secure No. 3, but a draw or loss could drop Seattle as far as No. 7 in what will likely play out like an early postseason duel.
