NCAA Approves Skylar Wicks' Waiver, 6-6 Combo Guard Eligible For Gonzaga

Even when Skylar Wicks committed to the Gonzaga Bulldogs in late June, there was reasonable doubt about whether he would actually don a Zags uniform.

The Saint Francis transfer was seeking a seventh season of eligibility, with GU slated as the sixth school of Wicks’ career. But the 6-6 guard recently received great news concerning his status for another year of collegiate basketball.

First reported by Dushawn London of 247Sports.com, the NCAA approved the 26-year-old’s waiver last Tuesday, officially adding an experienced, shot-creating guard with rebounding prowess to the Bulldogs’ backcourt.
