While it remains to be seen whether or not he will be ready for the start of training camp or the regular season, the Seahawks felt comfortable enough with Rylie Mills’ knee to take a shot on him early in the fifth round with a pick acquired for Sam Howell.

If you were hoping to learn who the Seahawks would pick with their 18th overall selection, John Schneider and Mike Macdonald weren’t about to give up any intel on that front. But they still had plenty to say in their annual pre-draft media availability on Monday.

With Sam Darnold inked through 2027, the Seahawks don’t have a quarterback controversy, at least in regards to a starter. But Drew Lock’s return absolutely could impact the team’s draft plans as well as the roster status of other signal callers on the roster.
