The Seattle Redhawks' 71-65 victory over the Oregon Ducks does not count in the record book, but the team will still return home with a 40-minute grind of a win over a Big-10 opponent.

Here are the main takeaways from Thursday night's exhibition victory:

Mason Williams Comes Alive

Williams missed all of last season for Iowa State with an injury. Thursday night served as his first game since March 8, 2025, his sophomore season with Eastern Washington. He came off the bench and in 27 minutes, he recorded a game-high 19 points (6-15 from the field) and four assists.

His scoring efforts in the second half aided a 26-5 run that led the Redhawks from down 53-41 to up 67-58. During the run, Williams had 10 points, showcasing his ability as a three-level scorer. Williams knocked down three-of-seven three-point attempts and got to the charity line four times. Despite not getting the start, Williams played a tie for a team high 15 second half minutes, flashing the ability to be Seattle's top scorer.
