In the last two weeks, the Washington State Cougars have landed nine new commitments for their 2026 class. Here is a look at some of the players that you will see in crimson and gray as new coach Jimmy Rogers looks to build his first full recruiting class as part of the rebuilt Pac 12:

Luke Galer, Tight End, Del Oro High School (Loomis, CA)

The 6-6, 230-pound Galer comes to Pullman with some impressive size and a three-star 84 overall rating. He originally committed to Sacramento State, but reopened his commitment in May with offers from Washington State as well as Fresno State, San Diego State, and UNLV among others. As a junior, Galer caught 21 passes for 309 yards and a touchdown.

Javon Joseph, EDGE, Oak Ridge High School (El Dorado Hills, CA)

After a great camp and talk with @WazzuRogers and @CoachBibbs52, I am honored and blessed to have been offered and committed to Washington State University! @WSUCougarFB pic.twitter.com/g0PL8YqKYj— 3⭐️ JaVon Joseph (@_javon18) June 10, 2025

The lowest ranked player of the group with a three-star rating and 81 overall grade, the 6-5, 250 pound Joseph only played in seven games after having to sit out due to transferring. He recorded 25 tackles on the year, and with impressive size for an incoming freshman, he appears to be a diamond in the rough with his only other scholarship offers being from Delaware State and Sacramento State.

Tyler Burnstein, EDGE, Liberty High School (Peoria, AZ) 6-4 235 pounds

Currently a three-star prospect with an 82 overall grade, Burnstein contributed eight tackles for a loss as a junior to go along with 4.5 sacks. He picked up offers from Arizona State and Nevada while officially taking a visit to Nevada. Just like Joseph, Burnstein will head to Pullman with good size for an incoming freshman (6-4, 235 pounds) and looks to have the ability to put on more weight on his frame.

Thank you to everyone who has been by my side on this journey. I am committed to being a COUG. @WSUCougarFB @WazzuRogers @CoachBibbs52 @coachthomasfb @LibertyFBLions @ppsacademy @JUSTCHILLY @BlairAngulo @coach_hadac pic.twitter.com/0uaNN9psmn— Tyler Burnstein 3⭐️EDGE (@Ty_Burnstein) June 11, 2025

Kaden Olson, Safety, Northwest High School (Justin, TX) 6-0 185 pounds

The 6-0, 185-pound Olson is ranked as a 3 star with an 84 overall grade. With no publicly available stats, the safety out of Texas picked up scholarship offers from Navy, New Mexico, and UTEP amongst others. He has quality instincts and exhibits solid burst to the ball. According to his X account, he runs a 4.53 40-yard dash.

Galer, Joseph, Burnstein, and Olson join a 2026 recruiting class already including athletes Landon Kalsbeck and Hudson Kurland, offensive lineman Kingston Fotolia, safety Bradley Esser, tight end Drew Jones, receiver Hudson Lewis, and defensive lineman Jake Jones. As the rest of the 2026 class continues to be assembled by Rogers and his staff, Galer, Joseph, and Burnstein will each provide more size in the trenches, while Olson should add speed to the secondary.
